What Makard stores, who can see it, and who runs it.

Last changed 4 November 2026

What we store about you

  • From Google, when you sign in: your name, email address and profile photo.
  • What you create: your profile (username, display name, bio, theme and photo), your links (titles and web addresses) and the cards you add to your account, with their settings.
  • Counts: each card tap, profile view and link click is saved with the time and which card, profile or link it was for, so the app can show you how often they are used.

What we don't store about visitors

When someone taps your card or opens your page, we don't save who they are: no IP address, no device or browser details, no location. These pages set no cookies and run no trackers. Link preview bots, like the ones chat apps use, are not counted as views.

Who can see what

Your profile page is public: anyone with the address sees your display name, username, bio, photo and link titles, and which platform each link is on. A link's web address is revealed when someone opens it. Your email address and your counts are only shown to you, in the app.

Who runs it

Your account and data are stored with Supabase. The public pages run on Vercel, and card taps and link clicks on Cloudflare. Like any web host, they handle technical details of each request, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service, and may keep short-lived operational logs. Makard does not use them to track visitors.

Your choices

You can change your profile, links and cards in the app at any time.
